The most critical step in fiber splicing and optical fiber processing is the fiber preparation. 3SAE Technologies has developed and patented several ground breaking technologies such as Burst™ Technology and the Ring of Fire®, and Liquid Clamp™ LDF Cleaving Technology for fiber stripping, fiber cleaning and fiber cleaving. Our products have a proven track record and are used globally by many major photonics companies. 3SAE’s state-of-the-art non-contact, chemical free coating removal solutions are ideal for the end stripping and mid-span window stripping and cleaning of optical fibers with coatings such as acrlyate, PVC, polyimide, carbon, and gold. Our automated fiber cleaving products are specifically designed for the cleaving of fibers ranging from 80um up to 2mm in diameter and are compatible with shaped fibers, polarization maintaining (PM) fibers, LD fibers (LDF) and photonic crystal fibers (PCF).
